The SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) exam is a national-level competitive examination conducted in India. It is held to recruit candidates for various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in government ministries, departments, and organisations. The exam consists of four tiers, including a preliminary exam, mains exam, descriptive paper, and skill test.

SSC conducts CGL examination every year to select eligible candidates for posts mentioned below:

  • Assistant Audit Officer
  • Assistant Account Officer
  • Assistant Section Officer
  • Junior Statistical Investigator
  • Tax Assistant
  • Assistant Enforcement Officer etc.

SSC CGL Tier-II

SSC CGL Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III. Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts. Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these posts. Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper III for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
