IBPS PO/MT OR Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer / Management Trainee is a national level exam conducted by IBPS to select the candidates to the post of Probationary officers in different public sector banks in India. There are two exams for this post, preliminary and mains, after which there is an interview process. Candidates must have a graduate degree to apply for this examination.

The IBPS PO consists of 3 phases (preliminary, mains and interview) and the candidates must qualify each of them to proceed to the next phase. Mentioned below are the important steps of the IBPS PO Recruitment Process.
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three three tests of preliminary examination by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Descriptive Paper of English Language (Letter writing & Essay) evaluated by an automated scoring mechanism for identifying features related to writing proficiency. This scoring mechanism is duly validated and evaluates test takers proficiency in writing in English Language in an objective manner as the mechanism does not have any in-built biases for evaluating responses.

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination for CRP- PO/MT will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centers. The center, address of the venue,time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

Next, candidates need to pay the Application Fee which is different for each category, Fee/Intimation charges once paid will not be refined on any account nor will they be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Final submission of the form is to be done and the application process is completed.
Maximum and Minimum scores (combined scores in Online Main Examination and Interview out of 100). The candidate has to score more than the cut off marks to qualify for the final selection. Go through the year wise and stage wise cut off and prepare a strategy to crack the upcoming IBPS PO exam. Candidates can check the cut off of the year 2022.
